I’m officially not a morning person

Woke up this morning at 6am. I hatee waking at 6, especially when it’s still dark out.
I had to get up early today because I had a case and needed to meet with the witnesses at 830am. (Aside: I am still waiting for my case to go off. Was scheduled for 930 and it’s 1030 already. Now I’m sleepy, hungry AND impatient. Ok, end aside.)
So I’m going through my daily ritual -applying moisturizer then makeup. If you recall from a previous post, I quit using foundation and now go for the “clear makeup” from Philosophy called The Present. Thing is, The Present has the same consistency of a hair cream I use, Aveda’s Brilliant styling creme. Both products also come in a similarly shaped tube and open with the same kind of flip-top cap.
You get where I’m going with this. I slathered the hair cream all over my face. I briefly wondered why it wasnt spreading like it usually did, but there wasn’t enough difference to alert me that I was conditioning my eyebrows. Those products even smell similar.
For a second, I considered leaving it on. Just a second. Then I got up and had to rewash my face.
I put the Aveda FAR away from the Philosophy. I have more 6am days ahead of me and I can’t go repeating stupid mistakes.
Stuff like this never happens to me at 9am.
